Vivio Design Studios Style

Ornamentation is as ancient as mankind itself. We naturally decorate our bodies, homes and possessions for comfort and a sense of individuality. The jewelry I create is inspired by a variety of objects, both natural and man-made: Modern and ancient architecture, botanical specimen, jewelry from past civilizations, and personal experiences throughout my life. Many of my designs incorporate diamonds, pearls, or gemstones, and regularily include non-precious materials such as wood, stone or found objects. The concern is not the initial value of the materials but the contrast and textures created by combining them to invoke a new significance and aesthetic of the union.
